This building is actually build during 19th century and own by Kapitan Cina Chung Keng Kwee (second owner). He is a hakka born Chinese miner back those day during the British colonial. Kapitan Cina Chung Keng Kwee study english during his free time and was put into a good use in a few occasion and spotted by Sir William which is also the first Governor of Penang.
